Penerapan Terapi Non-Farmakologi Untuk Mengatasi Fatigue Pada Pasien Paliatif: Studi Literatur

Latar Belakang: Fatigue adalah gejala umum pada pasien paliatif, terutama pada pasien dengan kanker. Pengelolaan fatigue melalui terapi non-farmakologi, seperti terapi fisik, psikologis, dan mind-body interventions, mendapatkan perhatian dalam perawatan paliatif karena memiliki sedikit efek samping dibandingkan pengobatan farmakologi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas berbagai terapi non-farmakologi dalam mengelola fatigue pada pasien paliatif. Metode: Tinjauan literatur sistematis dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan artikel-artikel yang relevan dari berbagai basis data, termasuk PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar. Sembilan artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi temuan terkait terapi non-farmakologi. Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terapi fisik, seperti aktivitas fisik moderat, terapi psikologis seperti CBT dan mind-body interventions, efektif dalam mengurangi fatigue pada pasien paliatif. Terapi musik dan aromaterapi juga menunjukkan pengurangan signifikan dalam gejala fatigue serta peningkatan kualitas hidup pasien. Selain itu, Baduanjin, Tai Chi Qigong, eurythmy therapy, somatic acupressure, dan laser auriculotherapy juga terbukti bermanfaat. Kesimpulan: Terapi non-farmakologi terbukti efektif dalam mengelola fatigue pada pasien paliatif. Implementasi yang lebih luas memerlukan pelatihan lebih lanjut bagi tenaga kesehatan.
