Dampak Pernikahan Anak pada Kesehatan Mental: Scoping Review Mengenai Dampak Psikologis dan Emosional

Praktik pernikahan anak masih menjadi perhatian dalam aspek kesehatan masyarakat karena berbagai dampaknya pada anak yang menikah di usia dini. Pernikahan anak didefinisikan sebagai pernikahan baik secara formal maupun informal sebelum usia 18 tahun yang saat ini masih menjadi isu global dengan berbagai dampaknya pada kesehatan mental pengantin muda, khususnya perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor dan mensintesis bukti dampak kesehatan mental yang berhubungan dengan pernikahan dini dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendasari munculnya dampak tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan scoping review menggunakan diagram PRISMA untuk mengidentifikasi artikel yang relevan dari PubMed, Scopus, dan Google Scholar. Sebanyak 11 artikel di analisis dalam studi ini. Hasil sintesis dari 11 artikel terpilih menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini berhubungan dengan kondisi psikologis termasuk meningkatkan risiko stres, depresi, dan kecemasan akibat dari kehilangan otonomi, terbatasnya akses pendidikan, permasalahan ekonomi, dan konflik keluarga. Pengantin muda lebih rentan terhadap kekerasan yang mana memperburuk masalah kesehatan mental yang mereka alami. Temuan penilitian ini menegaskan pentingkan intervensi yang komprehensif untuk mengatasi dampak kesehatan mental dari pernikahan anak.
